After connecting the printer and opening the setup Utility, you should be presented with a screen that shows the Zebra printers available for setup.

Choose the RW420. If not shown, then try connecting the printer again to a different USB port on the computer. Make sure the printer is on and charged. Choose Configure Printer connectivity to setup the connection.   You get two connection options Wireless and Bluetooth.

If you choose the Wireless option you get the setup screen for wireless connections:

On this screen you can choose setting the static IP address or letting the router assign it via DHCP. You can also specify the SSID and the security settings used in your wireless network.

:

If you choose the Bluetooth option you get the setup screen for  a Bluetooth connection:

Choose to give it  the printer a name and an authentication password since many paring devices expect it.

This step created a set of commands to send to the printer (different from above):

Choose send to send the configuration commands to the  printer  or to a file
(printer can be offline when you do this and save the new settings to a file)

The new settings will be sent to the printer using the current connection method. The settings transfer causes the printer to reboot.

The printer should be available  to pair with a device after reboot
