FlexiPole Complete
The Complete is a pole mount
standing at 15cm high and allows both the sales person and
the customer a comfortable position for entering payment and
PIN information. When securely latched into position, the
Complete allows your FirstBase or Safe Base to rotate and
tilt as required.

to mount your PIN Entry Device (PED)?
Mounting your card payment machine saves you
money by reducing cable damage and wear and tear on the
device. Mounting also allows you to create the best possible
check out experience for your customer, minimizing clutter
and creating an attractive and efficient environment.
PEDPack Mounting System
FlexiPole™ is such a secure system because
we supply an individually tailored ‘back’ for your card
payment machine (a PEDPack) which allows our unique latching
mechanism to engage with your base. A list of all the card
machine models we currently support is available below. We can also create a bespoke solution for you, just
get in touch to find out more. Alternatively, if you’re not
sure of your choice of payment machine, our FlexiGrip
product is a great solution and works with any payment
machine.
Additional Information
Cabling: two channels are supplied as standard within the pole for cabling.
Installation: FlexiPole™ can be drill or adhesive mounted, it’s quick, easy
and full instructions are supplied. A high bond adhesive pad is included with
all counter top poles.
Accessibility: FlexiPole™ products are fully compliant with the UK’s 1995
Disability Discrimination Act.

FirstBase
Our bestselling base, suitable for the majority of retail locations,
FirstBase can be used with any of our mounting solutions. Our unique latching
mechanism is fitted as standard.
The latch can be released easily using the button at the back of the mount
allowing the machine to be passed directly to a customer, for example to a
wheelchair user.

A. Look at our SafeBase option - it includes a keyed lock to attach

Q. What are these stands made of?
A. Plastic
composite. To avoid connectivity problems for your point of sale
technology and maintain a clean and aesthetic check out environment a
stand made from composite material is the wisest choice.
Tailwind’s FlexiPole stands are a composite plastic material, not
metal, and offer no interference for contactless Near Field
Communication, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Composite materials have other
advantages over metal stands:
•Powder coated metal is not a robust material for high impact point
of sale environments and tends to rust, corrode and scratch.
Composites are highly robust and resilient and do not scratch,
tarnish or corrode, looking as good as new many years into service.
•Metal stands are not easy to clean and collect dust and dirt as the
